  1. WOW- Great Story! I think reaching my mission statement will have tricky spots along the way and I will need others to help me reach my goal. I think this is true for everyone.

It sure is powerful to see young people being so kind and doing the right thing. I truly believe that people are good and will do the right thing, even though sometimes it doesn't seem like they will.

  2. What a nice gesture and idea that winning isn’t everything. And the fact that the coach wasn't some crazy person who actually allowed the team to make this gesture. I referee and some of the coaches are just ridiculous. The worst are parents /coaches that believe that every point is life or death, and winning each play is the ultimate measure of their self worth. No wonder enrollment in athletics is down and dropping. The athletes want to have fun. I’m glad I coach cross country! This video shows the real value of sports.

  3. I have seen this before - what a great story! It truly re-emphasizes the real meaing of sportsmanship and that winning isn't anything. I think the girls in this video will remember this more than any game they may have won or lost - a real life lesson...

  4. This an amazing story of compassion and generosity. When we are struggling to succeed, having support is sometimes the only way to reach our goal. I can see that I need a lot of support to reach my goal of taking care of myself.

These kids are amazing. There are many kids who step up to do wonderful things when given the opportunity. As long as we adults model compassionate behavior, we will continue to see it in them.
